Are you passionate about criminal justice reform? You want to help redeem incarcerated people to become productive citizens? Then join us at Village Second Chance!
We are building a place for family members of incarcerated people to connect, support each other, and get updates on efforts to reform our criminal justice system.
Village Second Chance is a community of people passionate about reforming our criminal justice system. We gather monthly on zoom to build relationships, support each other, and stay updated on the work being done. Anyone is welcome to join Village Second Chance.

Village Second Chance is a community of people passionate about reforming our criminal justice system. We gather monthly on zoom to build relationships, support each other, and stay updated on the work being done. Anyone is welcome to join Village Second Chance.
Here are a few things you can expect at Village Second Chance:
* Grounding - this is a chance to center ourselves, connect with our breath, and prepare ourselves for the time together
* Acknowledgement - you’ll hear updates from members representing organizations or causes related to criminal justice reform.
* Community Connections - you’ll meet one-to-one with another community member to discuss a prompt and to get to know each other.
* Prison Breaks - we’ll occasionally interrupt our program to hear from an incarcerated person who’s calling in to share a bit about themselves.
* Open Space Conversations - anyone present may suggest a topic to convene a discussion around.
Some examples of topics include: family member support (i.e. what it’s like having someone on the inside during the holidays), legislative updates, deeper dives into organizations or advocacy work, and trainings.
Share-Backs - we record a summary of each Open Space conversation to send to all Village Second Chance members so even if they can’t join, the can stay updated
We also send an invitation email and summary email for each monthly gathering to members. To become a member, you must first visit. Complete our visitor form to get all the details you need to attend the next gathering.
